· Strategic Compliances, act as the primary liaison with the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH) and Pollution Control Boards (CPCB/SPCB) to secure and renew operating licenses.

· Process Safety Management (PSM): Lead high-level safety studies including HAZOP (Hazard and Operability), LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis), and Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) for chemical process reactors and storage tank farms.

· Maintain statutory records, MIS reports, and safety data sheets (SDS).

· Oversee the work permit system for high-risk tasks such as working at heights, confined space entry, or hot work, lifting & shifting activity etc.

· Lead safety inductions for new hires, skill jobs based training to be provided to workmen’s and toolbox talks to ground staff.

· Design and implement safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.

· Lead complex risk assessments (e.g., HIRA, JSA) for high-risk operations like chemical handling, lab safety, or green field project construction activities etc.

· Coordinate mock drills, spill response plans, Emergency response plan and evacuation procedures while liaising with external emergency services.

· Conduct and oversee Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies and activity-based risk assessments (HIRA) to identify potential chemical release or explosion risks.

· Monitor the daily performance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure discharge quality meets statutory norms and manage hazardous waste disposal.

· Conduct regular internal safety audits and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for any chemical-related incidents or near-misses.

· Liaise with authorities like the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH),Pollution Control Boards, Fire NOC, MIDC, etc. to maintain active licenses and permits.

· Installation and Commissioning of green field project with ZERO accident

· Green field project start up required legal compliance successfully application and licenses authorisations.

· Developing and implementing online hazard and Near miss incident reporting system.
