- Monitoring Daily operation of Customs Clearance / CFS operation / Transportation and Co-ordinating with the Customers and Shipping lines on a regular basis( Sea Export / Import ).
- Coordinate export shipments from origin until final destination & Sending pre-alert to the consignee & to our counterpart once the shipment gets cleared.
- Commerce with all customer requirements such as general shipment enquires-Job creation, Bill Of Entry, shipping bill filing, shipment operation follow up, shipping document provision, invoicing to customer & overseas office.
- Knowledge of Normal B/E, In-Bond, Ex-Bond & HSS B/E, Find H.S codes, Duty Structure with tariff book
- Preparing Daily Status Report of Imports and Export Shipment
- Coordination of transport arrangements & Arranging Container movements from CFS to PORT & Customer Service functions
- Follow up on delivery (haulage) of shipments from the port to final destination liaising with overseas office to ensure these flows smoothly and Proactively contact customers with day to day shipment information, customs clearance status, offloads, vessel sailing confirmation etc.
- Duty Drawback From Customs – Monitoring Close follow up with the Finance department and see that all the Invoices are raised within7 days from date of clearance.
- Close Monitoring of outstanding with All the Customers, and regular follow-up with them and sending weekly report to the Senior Management about the Debtors realisation
