• Place orders for raw materials and purchased components—including castings, forgings, fasteners, gauges, and fittings—based on production requirement

• Review material requisitions and analyse MRP outputs to drive procurement decisions.

• Order, reschedule, or cancel materials based on MRP output and real-time production requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of purchased items, delivery timelines, costs, and inventory levels.
• Manage supplier performance against agreed pricing, delivery, and quality standards, escalating issues as needed.
• Approve supplier invoices for payment after verification of goods received and order terms.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, ensuring accurate stock reporting.
• Monitor material flow throughout the production cycle to avoid bottlenecks.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews with key suppliers to evaluate and improve service levels.
