Work Description

• Inspection of each activity such drilling, blasting, supporting, shotcreting, rock bolting waterproofing and lining activity, as per contract specification, drawings, method statement and ITP.
• Monitoring of daily progress at site including review of contractor progress reports and cycle time of various tunneling activities.
• Maintaining records of each activity such as RFI's and daily.
• Review of method statement and construction drawings.
• Coordinating with geologist and designer to resolving the problems in tunnel.
• Monitoring the deformation and survey report of primary support system in daily basis and reporting.
• Monitoring and reporting the safety of manpower, machinery, materials and environment based on the contract document, EHS plan and policy.
• Inspecting of in-site quality activity such as material test, pull out test, shotcreting & concrete test, and waterproofing tests as per the project specification, method statement and inspection test plan.
• Preparing daily progress report, monthly report and Quarterly report.
• Attending progress review meeting with clients.

Project Detail:- Construction of Two Tunnel, Two tubes of Four lane each (in km 1+040 to km 2+790) 1.75km and km 3+440 to 12+360 (8.92km) for Missing Link under Capacity Augmentation of Mumbai Pune Expressway in the state of Maharashtra Under EPC Mode-Package-I, For the Asias widest tunnel with Excavation diameter of 23.328 mtr.

Work Description

• Supervision and Monitoring of Earthwork Excavation by drill and blast NATM Tanique.
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed & Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Inspection of all Civil Works with respect to Construction drawing & Method Statement.
• Prepare daily, weekly and Monthly inspection & progress reports on site progress and delay.
• Evaluates contractor proposals of remedial actions to correct schedule problems.
• Monitors and reports on the progress of work but seeks assistance from Seniors & Professional schedulers on unusual or difficult issues.
• Provides technical interpretation of construction drawings and specification requirements in conjunction with the Resident Engineer & Team Leader.
• Manages the administration of project documentation, records, and reporting onsite.
• Assures that contractor's as-built records are monitored for accuracy and completeness, collected at end of the project, and forwarded to the team.
• Schedules and witnesses field testing performed by others, including testing firms and field acceptance testing.
• Coordinates and monitors quality assurance for all aspects and disciplines onsite for the project.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and ethical standards in accordance with Division policies, standards, guides, and contractual commitments; and supervises staff compliance.
• Coordinates with Tunnel Engineer or start-up specialists for process start-ups. Responsible for providing direction to other inspectors.
• Inspection Of waterproofing work like fixing of Geotextile, waterproofing membrane and their testing ie. Seam test over Membrane welding etc.
• Inspection of Concrete lining works for weaker sections and Seepage areas. Supervision for the all types of lining (ground beams, gantry concreting, steel works, etc), All types of drainage works and road works (subgrade, GSB, DLC and PQC).

Work Description

• Responsible for general day to day contract administration.
• Monitor workmanship and/or material quality in the Works and prepare instructions to the Contractor to investigate Such faults.
• All instrument monitoring and data analysis for vibration, building settlement & soil settlement.

Project Detail:- Detailed Design and PMC for Construction of Tunnels from Chainage km- 3+500 to km 20+000 for New Single Line BG Rail Link Between Bhanupli- Bilaspur-Beri, in the state of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

Work Description

• Supervise the of Construction of Cut & Cover Tunnel Section.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling the NATM transportation tunnel construction projects by using mechanical Excavation in soft rock (Non-Blast Tunnel).
• Supervise and inspect the construction work and ensuring implementation of contract in accordance with the drawings, standards, codes, and technical specifications and approve RFI, Checklist etc according to work.
• Implementation of RESS in coordination with team of Geologist, Geo-technologist, and Surveyors.
• Managed present construction methodologies and in managing material & manpower.
• Identifying and analysing possible risks in the project and mitigating them using SWOT analysis and maintaining risk register.
• Ensure that the works are carried out safely and the client safety policy is followed.
• Reviewing all the quality procedures and documents for tunnel construction and material submission based on specification.
• Review of method statements and drawings & implement at site.
• Preparation & ensure strict adherence to Project Quality Assurance Plan and inspection & test procedures in all QC activities.
• Supervision & inspection of waterproofing material with proper application of Geotextile, waterproofing Membrane etc, After checking the source & technical specification of approved mater with testing, also ensure the testing of Material on site & third party.

• Carried out inspection with Client and Audit Reviews to monitor compliance with quality, safety, other regulation.
• Handle the maintenance work manpower & scheduling them to different work on daily basis.
• Preparing Daily Work reports.
• Co-ordinate with MEP team for various work.
