The key points on which I added value to the business are mentioned below:

  • Ensured positive unit economics by streamlining acquisition and shipping operations
  • Tied-up with micro-influencers to generate leads, that formed the basis of D2C business in our organization
  • Established and handled end-to-end operations of a 20 member call center for converting leads generated with positive contribution
  • Designed and managed the inventory and shipping, invoicing operation with the distributor appointed for day to day operations
  • Enrolled doctors to provide strategic directions for the founding team and another set of doctors for consultations.
  • Analyzed customer feedback to improve product offering and and add new products.
  • Oversaw accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Built a tele-medicine service for rural India by establishing consultation centers and a developed mobile app which was operated by independent health advisors, branded as 'Guide'.

Later, we pivoted to develop this into a remote consultation for doctors, branded as 'The Good Doctor' app

My role here was centered around GTM strategy and implementation of the same. The main contributions were:

  • Developed and managed the consultation centers
  • Appointed, trained and led the ‘Guides’ to get consultations done regularly with appropriate remunerations and rewards
  • Tied up with wholesalers, shipping partners and local medical shops and developed the medicine supply chain for home delivery of medicines in villages
  • Enrolled doctors to subscribe to ‘The Good Doctor’ app.
