• Build and manage air carrier relationships in Delhi NCR.
• Lead air freight commercial/pricing functions with carriers and sub-agents.
• Drive IATA license acquisition and airline stock procurement.
• Own P&L for air freight, ensuring targets for volumes, GP, costs, and staff productivity.
• Oversee air freight operations and customer service (system and physical handling).
• Execute air freight business strategies for India.
• Develop and manage vendor and airline relationships.
• Collaborate with sales for air freight business acquisition.
• Manage claims and airline stock efficiently.

• Operating as lead point of contact for Air queries for western region.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting Supplier relationships
• Serve as lead point of contact for all Supplier account management matters.
• Negotiate Rates and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Clearly communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Rate Procurement with Airline and vendor to meet sales team’s requirement.
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within vertical.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

A) Air Export Pricing

• Negotiate and coordinate spot rates or quotations for air shipments
• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures
• Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with air carriers.
• Collaborate with sales functions to execute business plan targets.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, airlines, and terminals.
• Work with pricing, operations, and accounting teams.
• Follow and implement compliance and procedures.
• Follow up on quotations as needed and communicate positive or negative feedback in respect of being able to source competitive rate to support closure of all business opportunities.

B) Customer Service

• Ensure smooth and timely shipment process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational system based on defined metrics
• Track and trace shipments
• Provide proactive and clear communication to internal and external customers
• Understand customer expectation to ensure all elements of SOP and KPI are met
• Ensure compliance to company policies and external regulations
• Complete cross training in order to support team coverage
