• Support the electrical design team in all aspects of the project such as load study, fault level, load flow analysis, switchgear, MCC, transformer and distribution board design, cable sizing, lighting calculation, Lux Level calculation, earthing and lighting design, cable routing and cable tray sizing etc.
• Evaluation of offer & finalization of vendor based on technical & commercial parameters.
• Follow up engineering schedules for smooth safe and timely completion of project.
• Ensure spares management at plant level for use, preservation etc. during routine and shutdown activities.
• Ensure inspection of Electrical Installation by State/ District Electrical inspectorate and closure of observation to meet compliance in stipulated time. While keeping Electrical equipment upkeep and various records as per IE rules to avoid any statutory strictures.
• Identify training needs for departmental staff and arrange classroom or on job training, allot manpower for projects and review and optimize man-hours.
• Ensure equipment availability by ensuring timely PM activities and corrective action
• Update, review of electrical MIS reports to team. Prepared the monthly breakdown report with improvements plan including MTTR & MTBF. Continuous approach for improving OEE.
• Implementation of Kaizens, Why-Why analysis, One point lesion and fish bone diagram (6M), DMAIC Approach for resolving any problem.
• Working on TPM, 5’S, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, ISO-TS 16949, creating Standard Operating Procedure for improving the uptime of machine.
• Workings on Electro Pneumatic operated pick and place machinery (Solenoids valves, Cylinders, Rotary actuators, Manifold unit). Hydraulics system and devices
• Working exposure of PLC make Siemens, MMI, SCADA make WINCC in touch and industrial networking and Process instruments
• Working exposure on Air Compressors, HVAC, DG sets, Softener plant, STP, WTP, ETP
