KRAs include establishment of Fund & Treasury Management, Financial Policy, Fund raising, System and Controls, Finalization of Accounts & Audit, Ensuring Tax and Regulatory Compliances.
  • MFCL operates a Gas based Ammonia – Urea Complex at Panagarh, District Burdwan in West Bengal. The Plant produces 1.3 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) Urea which is the first one of its scale in India.
  • Managed treasury operations, overseeing cash flow and banking relations.
  • Led the strategic conversion of Rupee Term Loans into foreign currency borrowings (FCNR, FCL, ECB), achieving a material reduction in overall cost of funds through efficient capital structuring.
  • Orchestrated negotiations with financial institutions to design and execute derivative solutions, including cross-currency swaps, hedging currency exposures and optimizing pricing.
  • Conceptualized and implemented structured Suppliers’ Credit programs through LC discounting, enhancing working capital efficiency and optimizing short-term financing costs.
