- Design of external components for Rolls-Royce aero engines Trent 1000, Trent 7000, and Trent XWB with CAD software NX 2306 in accordance with the APQP process.
- Responsible for design delegation of Trent 1000 engine in which, need to understand the root cause of problem and customer requirements in design space.
- Propose concept, prepare plan to execute the design at multiple gates of APQP process followed by periodic design review with RR design lead.
- Design and drawings of pipe assemblies, brackets (as per JES327 & JES326) followed by key system checklist. Update the Oil, Fuel and drain schematics as per new design.
- Design of the cable routing for Trent 1000 MOD flow line.
- Design of the clamp block for the Trent 1000 project (as per RRMS43007) considering tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure product design met manufacturing, technical, and safety standards.
- Coordinated activities with stress & sub-system team, manufacturing acceptance (MA) team and internal departments for interface control document (ICD) clearance post design change.
- Generate Design definition report (DDR) for design change, ensuring clear communication of design intent. DDR is updated and reviewed with RR design lead throughout the APQP cycle and released at design final gate.
- Contribute to multiple projects at a time to meet the deliverables.
