- Currently, I am working at Accenture and supporting the client Marriott in the hospitality domain. My experience lies in R2R (Record to Report) processes, including general accounting, month-end reporting, reconciliation, and variance analysis. My main duties are to execute dashboard activities to review the status of open items and client exceptions, and to prepare data with regards to unreconciled accounts.
- As part of the month-end activities, I prepare journal entries for posting, compile open item data, and ensure the completion of all tasks before the GL (General Ledger) close on a monthly basis.
- I regularly update ETY trackers and maintain tracking tools to ensure control and timeliness in deliverables. I also support cross-training initiatives, assist in creating process backups, handle query resolutions, and participate in client calls.
- Ad-hoc activities include SLA reporting, DTP preparation, reviewing other accounts, and supporting Agile-related tasks.

My responsibilities included handling loan suspense reconciliation end-to-end, which involved reconciling the outstanding balances of general ledger accounts and processing rectifying entries to bring accounts back to zero. This included investigating discrepancies and making corrections to client and other GL accounts by posting appropriate journal entries.
