Project Detail

  • Project 1: Unbilled Reduction in I&C, EDF Energy. EDF Energy is one of the UK's largest energy companies and its largest producer of low- carbon electricity. Partnership between TCS and EDF Energy is 15 Years old and bringing transformational changes in I&C operations is very crucial. This year (2019), EDF Energy main focus is to reduce cost and become more competitive. Unbilled is an area of concern for I&C customer, where aged unbilled is the key focus. Reduction of unbilled helps to improve the cash flow and eliminate collection overheads.
  • Project 2: Processing time reduction for Billing exception Category EDF I&C is one of the Utility processes operating in the UK geography, supply electricity to the business customers. Entire I&C workspace is segregated in 5 tower, Sales & Marketing, IDAM, Billing, Collection & Contacts. Each tower is responsible for different activities (Meter to cash) in Utility life cycle TCS is helping EDF I&C customer by processing meter to cash related transactions in all 5 towers. To Do exception is one of the process in Billing tower which deals in resolving Billing related errors. Once the billing error is found it is sent to OSPS team via raising a JIRA which is not an efficiently way of process as it is time consuming.
