• I am managing the independence assessment team consisting of 10 professionals.
• Responsible for the overall development and performance appraisal of professionals in my team.
• Communicating directly with partners and practice staff members related to their personal independence query and independence audit findings over call on a timely basis.

Independence assessments of Non-Audit Services

• Reviewing the non-audit service permissibility which are proposed to be rendered to an audit client or their related entity for Advisory LOS from Independence perspective
• Provide guidance to the business team on what is permissible and what is not permissible services
• Attending the call with assurance deliverable partners across the network firm for discussion of unresolved matters related to non-audit service permissibility.
• Managing a team of 6 members.
• Perform engagement quality review on half yearly basis.
• Perform Independence Checks and Signing of Client Acceptance Form.

Automation of Independence Audit Process and Quality and Compliance Dashboard :

• Prepared draft for the automation with process flow in Visio
• Discussed with IT team to make them understand the design and outcome what Risk & Reputation team is looking for
• Done testing of the tool on UAT environment and continuously discussing with the IT team for desired output
• Successfully launched this tool
• Currently working on the next release.

• Perform expert level external and internal reporting for a variety of investment types such as individual securities and mutual funds and the risk associated with the underlying investments
• Prepare customized reporting in response to client inquiries and requests for information
• Assist with regulatory reporting and preparation of materials for internal and external audits and examinations
• Leading large audits, developing audit work plans designed to accomplish audit objectives, managing/implementing updates with respect to regulatory requirements and leading best practice.
