The project focused on building a solution for small and micro enterprises in retail sector. The project proved to be very challenging as the solution targeted for the end-user had to be simple, affordable and that could improve the business. The solution also targets at completing the supply chain between the retailers, the distributors and FMCG companies.
The solution is built on native Android platform and delivered with a proprietary device. There was field study conducted to understand the requirements for the application and to validate the solution.
The application is made generic and is extended to pharma industry for use by pharmacists. The main modules of the application include Billing and printing bills, Tracking Inventory, Tracking deliveries and Reporting the data.

An Insurance Contract Engine developed by Unisys R&D that has been designed exclusively for ING, one of the leading Insurance companies in Holland. The product caters to Unit Linked Life & Pensions insurance. The product is designed using J2EE framework architecture.
The functionality of the contract engine is to generate a quote, create a proposal & issue a policy. Only completed proposals can be issued. Units are then invested in different funds. The system also deducts charges on payments that are received. The architecture fundamentally comprises of the following layers, User Interface, Interface Manager, Process Controller, Business Services & Adaptors, Data Management Services, Data Mapping Layer.

The project focused on migrating an existing legacy application developed in PICK language to a Java based application for a South African Insurance company. The portfolio developed is particularly suitable for retirement funds and provides long-term, stable bonus and consistent long-terms returns through well-diversified spread of assets and prudent risk profile. It's also designed to give members more certainty in their financial planning for the future.
This system enables the employees to log and sign up for various investment and employee benefit schemes. It involves an integrated environment to view the current schemes the employee is part of, its maturity levels and the premium details of the scheme.
In this J2EE based application, MVC architecture is used for separating business layer functionality represented by EJBs (the model) from the presentation layer functionality represented by JSPs (the view) using an intermediate servlet based controller. To overcome the call-response-reload models used in HTTP transactions and make it more like application, remote-scripting technology is used.

The project focused on developing a tool for a UK based company that provides productive and efficient way to manage I.T. infrastructure and thus form part of an overall plan for the future. This versatile tool developed is an intermingle of VC++ and VB 6.0. The tool was designed to gather hardware and software information and maintain and analyze the information gathered and thus retain the control of IT in the future. The Surveyor II application suite has been designed to be most cost efficient way of collecting information concerning the IT infrastructure and user community within an organization.
The application builds on the fundamentals of IT auditing solution by defining a series of business driver templates. These templates are designed to give the application a direction that effectively delivers quantifiable reports, giving an accurate overview of any proposed solutions.
