I was working with two different model systems for my doctoral studies.
A. Neurogenesis- Monolayer differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells to neural stem cells to cortical neurons.
B. Lactogenesis-Differentiation of Prolactin responsive HC11 cells to Casein secreting HC11 cells in presence of Insulin, Hydrocortisone and Prolactin. The primary objective of my research was to study how spatiotemporal dynamics of 3D genome orchestrates transcriptional output and preserve transcript stoichiometry. End-to-end studies
including Hi-C, ATAC-Seq, HiChIP, and Gro-Seq were planned and executed.
