GE Healthcare establishment in Salt Lake City is developing C-Arm X-ray based surgical imaging device. This device is designed to be used during surgical procedures for providing real time images.

Keystone is the latest C-Arm Surgical X-Ray Machine with State-of-the-Art Features and is compliant with the latest DICOM Standards. The surgical X-ray unit was enabled with various pre-configured X-ray profiles suited for multiple applications such as orthopedic, vascular, cardiac, and spinal surgeries. The system could also help maintain patient that were entered manually or from DICOM source like MWL or Image query.

This project was NPD (New Product Development) followed with multiple design change cycles for managing customer feedback as well as system upgrade, cybersecurity compliance and cost optimizations. All the program cycles scope included Verification and Validation of the C-Arm X-ray system with manual and automation testing.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Coordinating and Planning with the delivery manager regarding project issues, defects, and deliverables.

· Distribution of workload among teams as per systems availability and task/program priorities.

· Developing test protocols and execution of the build acceptance, sanity, and smoke testing.

· Working closely with feature owners to improve the quality of SSVPs. (test protocols)

· Analyzing requirement coverage and escalating the gaps to the systems team. Periodically checking the Traceability Matrix for gaps.

· Confirm the issues identified by other team members and classifying them in the correct buckets of tester error, known issues, new issues, regression, protocol issues etc.

· Perform optimization of reproduction steps for issues which are difficult to reproduce.

· Working closely with automation/reliability team to create test protocols for simplified reproduction steps of critical issues.

· Ensure GE Verification Standard operating procedures (SOPS) are followed by the entire team.
