The National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) is a premier autonomous institution set up by the Indian Government in 2014 to work on a wide range of governance issues at all levels, including local, state, and national. The Centre is mandated to work on governance, policy reforms, capacity building, and training of civil servants and technocrats from India and other developing countries. It is also a think tank that focuses on issues related to good governance, social accountability, water, sanitation, hygiene, and other sectors. As India continues to adopt progressive policies and digital governance to empower its citizens, NCGG's role has become even more crucial. The Centre's efforts to strengthen governance, promote transparency, and improve service delivery will contribute to building a more accountable, efficient, and effective government.
