o BIP Notifications project – Migrate all financial workflow notifications in Payables, Journals, Intercompany, Expenses, Receivables and Budgetary control teams’ areas from ADF to BIP in a phased manner over multiple releases. Migration was completed in 20D.

o Driven the adoption of the BIP notifications framework in HCM, PRC, PPM and SCM for converting 100s of more workflow notifications from ADF to BIP stack.


Ø As part of delivering the projects, I have worked with various cross family teams to make the projects a reality - PSR, UX, HCM, PRC, ATK, BIP/SOA techstack while also working with engineers in CDC and HQ, outside of this reporting hierarchy to deliver projects following agile practices.

Ø Uday is the lead Fintech expert on various technical areas – ADF, Rest, BIP, UX, Flexfields/MDS, PSR, Security, SMC etc. and has over the year groomed many experts in these areas in FinTech

Ø Uday started as a Fintech-AR developer and played a crucial role in triaging and fixing numerous bugs during the AR recovery initiative.

Ø He was one of the lead developers for VRM and had outstanding contributions in all phases of the project from design and planning to implementation and maintenance. He has contributed to VRM is areas of – security, OATS automation, FDI, seed data, ADF UI development and audit compliance

In the past 23 months Uday has demonstrated very good leadership and managerial qualities. He has done a very good job in handling multiple projects with FA wide visibility along with heavily contributing to FinTech prototyping efforts. Ø BIP workflow notifications

o high impact project with a engineering team size of 5, working with UX, strategy, BIP/SOA tech team and product managers to revamp all email notifications in FA from ADF based email solution to BIP based reports.

o Around 50+ notifications in FIN have been converted by developers in IDC and CDC working in various scrum projects for various teams – AP/AR/GL/EXM/FUN/XCC teams.

· Service excellence –

o Improve the performance and usability of expenses product, which had huge implications for Oracle GSI

o Implement a scalable export solution for Bank Of America for high volume exports

o Uptake client Side LOVs in Financials to provide a modern and efficient input LOV component in financials

o Improve robustness of SOA and ADF integrations for more performant Financial dashboards

· Approvals Product Improvement – Contributing on various projects on approvals space like simplified Rules upload, approval reporting project

o Uday is leading a team of 3 fintech developers to build this component of advanced complexity and complicated features like dynamically adding/removing attributes, customized implementation of saved searches and breadcrumbs implementation

o Uday is Coordinating with AppsUX, Applcore and PMs from HED/FIN and PPM for the technical and UX requirements

o Uday does the sprint planning, lays out the technical designs and reviews code and test quality

Ø BIP Email Notification – project to replace ADF email notifications with BIP based email notifications

o Uday is coordinating this effort with UX/ financial strategy and financial product management team for UX and functional designs

o Uday is leading this project with 3 fintech developers to implement the base style and sub templates and the common infrastructure code required for uptake by consuming families – HCM, PRC and FIN

o Uday is taking care of all planning and deliverables of the project taking into account styling, accessibility, performance and extensibility aspects of the project

o This implementation also involves building a custom approval history section with core HTML and SOA APIs

Ø Invoice Notification Redesign – completely redesign invoice email approval notification for R12

o Uday has driven this project for R11 and R12 with a senior developer in the team to completely redesign the invoice email notification

o Responsive designs principles were implemented along with multiple hacks to get a design compatible with multiple email clients

o Involved creating a custom soa history implementation for email mode using soa APIs

Ø HED contributions – driven multiple HED deliverables – Custom Home page, Academic Org Hierarchy Viewer, HED Restful services

o Uday has personally driven 2 areas of development with his team in HED – Custom StudentHome with MDS customizations for cart integration and Academic Org Hierarchy Viewer

o Apart from that Uday has guided 3 fintech developers to develop HED infolets, Student Results UI, Catalog and Shopping Cart

o Uday and Pavithra, have helped in design review phase and helped in implementing security for all HED RestFul services

o Uday has helped in security uptake and debugging performance issues on HED UI

Ø CX Deliverables – owning the modules of loyalty transactions and redemptions, App composer uptake

o Uday is leading a team of 3 developers working on CX deliverables for transactions and redemptions

o Uday is also part of the main architectural review team for Loyalty engine, bulk administration and loyalty security implementation

o Uday and team are also doing sessions on knowledge sharing on fusion development standards and process. Uday is also the gate keeper for Loyalty central file merges

Ø Other Fintech Responsibilities

o Uday along with his team prepared the OJET technology demo on sample HED catalog use case for technology evaluation of OJET in HED

o Uday and his team own and maintain the UCM and BIP domain automation script that is used FA wide

o Uday maintains multiple tools for fintech

§ Premerge on the cloud tool

§ Selenium execution infrastructure and Junit reporting tool

§ As the diagnostics POC, maintais the sandbox environments for financials

o Uday was the main POC from IDC for fuse+ uptake and migration which included simple panel, OSN, and fuse+ Shell uptake

o Uday and team help the automation team to debug intermittent issues, and issues related to OATs

o Uday has mentored 3 interns in the past 18 months who have worked on technology prototypes and tooling that benefit all of fusion applications

§ Usage of web sockets in fusion applications for async loading

§ Tool to map bugs with P4FA with ST environments

o Uday also plays a active part in new hire onboarding and mentoring junior folks in the team. He has provided valuable guidance for the next set of fintech experts and 2 of them have also gone on to present their ideas in the fusion application Hackathon
