- Pivotal role in realizing the Space borne GNSS receiver Prototype model for Human rated missions like gaganyaan.
- Drafted Hardware & software technical specifications and requirements from user requirements (DO-178b, DO-254 etc.)
- Design, development, embedded software implementation and verification of Navigation algorithms on Leon, Cobham Gaisler space-grade processor devices.
- Developed a Scalable standalone SPS software module, which can be used across missions like LEO(Microsat [12]), GEO(TDS01[8]), Gaganyaan (G-1, TVD2[18]). This helps to bring the uniformity in software independency and reduce the development life cycle process.
- Performed Static and dynamic analysis using TBVision of LDRA, in which code coverage , Code compliance towards standards like DO-178B/C, MISRA C was checked. This is very useful for Human spacecraft missions like Gaganyaan G1,G2. MC/DC coverage report for the Gaganyaan software was generated using TBVision and analysed the lacuna in coverage and resolved them.
- Responsible for the development of new System Engineering Process that has resulted in better traceability to customer, industry and product requirements.
- Manage, create and maintain technical documentation of Software requirements(SRS) & design(SDD) and test plan via LDRA tool suite, thus ensuring the integrity and coherence among them.
- Perform Navigation analysis, modeling and simulation to validate system design and performance of various phases like Initial Bench Test, T&E, Thermovac, EMI/EMC, AIT.
- Resolved complex technical issues through effective problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.

- Integrated the OD&P software with the standalone SPS software, using Eclipse IDE in C for Leon UT-699 processor and resolved various interface issues using JTAG debugger tool, GRMON.
- Performed Verification & Validation of the integrated SPS software as per the design requirements and assessed the functionality performance under critical conditions.
- Generated a Requirements traceability matrix report using SRS, FRS & SDD with LDRA tool. Timing analysis for all critical modules, integrated SPS software using Leon TSIM tool and GPIO based scheme, based on which modularity of software modules was done.
- Test procedure document consisting of requirements-based test cases, were generated and their execution was implemented using automated utility developed using C. It will generate the test report and summary, which is useful for reviews and assessing the functional performance of the system.
- Developed various onboard software modules related to GNSS receivers like Frame Synchronization, Ephemeris data extraction, data processing , navigation solution and interfaces like Mil 1553, SPI, I2C.
- Designed an HDL module for acquiring the CCSDS enabled/Disabled, randomized on/off data from SPS using Libero IDE on ProASIC 3000E FPGA. An embedded software utility that captures this data from FPGA and transfers it to PC was realized using C.
- Formulated a Case study, in which test system requirements were captured and proposed the architecture of the hardware using the ProASIC Actel 3000E FPGA and AD 7026 microcontroller, meeting the requirements. This is helpful as a first step in system level understanding and progress towards system engineering.
- Troubleshooting activities across multiple projects like Carto-3, RISAT-2B, HySIS, Microsat, Ocenasat, related to various hardware and software issues, during different phases of the system realization were carried out.
