Project: Customer Focused Billing System is a futuristic, flexible, rules driven billing system developed for British Telecom plc to enable them to produce a consolidated bill to meet the individual client needs and to introduce the new products quickly into the system. It facilitates billing a customer for usage of BT’s services. CFB is aimed at consolidation of already billed services for a particular customer. CFB has three tier architecture with a Windows based front end, a UNIX operating system at the middle tier for security validations and MVS/DB2 at the database end.
