Vijay Bhawsar is the Head of Business Operations, Resource Management and Sales Operations at Hinduja Tech. He has over 12+ years of experience in IT and Engineering Service industries.
Vijay has worked across the Engineering Service sector in small to large Indian & US companies such as L&T Technology, and L&T Thales JV where he was involved in post integration of DOC, acquired by LTTS in US. He has over 7+ years of experience in Senior Management, spearheading end-to-end P&L management. Vijay also has a strong expertise in building Pricing / Business Models Strategies with a goal of maximizing profits.
Vijay Bhawsar’s key responsibility at Hinduja Tech is to maximize revenue growth and profits. His responsibilities also include driving Operational Efficiency, Business KPIs, Tracking of Project’ Health, and Commercials Management & driving Mitigation Actions.
His role under Sales Operations includes driving pipeline growth, targets on lead generation, measuring key KPIs, sales cycles, win-loss analysis, driving regional focused reviews, and formulating T20 growth plans.
At L&T Technology Services, Vijay managed Business Operations for Transportation Vertical, and then moved to taking over the responsibilities of Mechanical Horizontal Business Operations. After relentlessly working for 6 long years, Vijay managed to get M&A post integrations for US acquisition at L&T. He has handled large P&L of 250+ m$, grown profits from +17% to 37%, at Thales JV he managed to achieve ~15 m$ revenue with negative (-7%) & profits to +10% PAT, and DOC M&A ~35 m$ revenue with negative (-10%) profits to +2% PAT.
Vijay holds Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and is also certified in Strategy and Operations from International Business Management Institute, Berlin – Germany. His ingenious number games aside, Vijay is passionate about biking, snooker, and travelling.
