Supervise and coordinate pre commissioning and commissioning activities for Power Transformers, CB’s, PT’s, CT’s, MV Switches and Station Service Equipment and AC/DC System such as UPS, Chargers, Batteries and Transfer Switches.
Coordinate with QA/QC engineers & perform RFI and validate each inspection.
Preparation & checking of Key Single Line Diagram, Single Line Diagram for MV Switchboards, Substation Equipment Layout, Electrical Load List, Hazardous Area Classification Drawing.
Switchgear control panel design with electrical CAD, preparation of GA, SLD, Design basis & wiring Schematic, ETAP EPLAN Electrical circuit power system, & Load calculation.
Oversee setting‐up and testing of protection relays for feeders, power transformers, and measurement centers.
Handles testing of Transformers & MV switchboards. Perform scheme test or functional test, testing of inter‐trip panel and tripping matrix and monitor testing of mechanical and electrical interlocking schemes.
Ensures operation and performance, comply with the design criteria.
Define and review method and action to ensure proper operations of equipment, system and plant.
Perform Systems Mechanical completion walk through / audit, generate/evaluate the punch points, and follow the tracking system.
Supervise and coordinate pre commissioning and commissioning activities for field electrical equipment’s like Motors, Lighting, grounding system, explosive proof equipment’s, process heater and Heat-tracing systems.
Defining and requesting work and/or test permit, release from service operations and to follow‐up of clearance. Works and responsible in handing over of commissioned system to the operation team.
Manage the documentation for electrical commissioning such as taking over certificates, as built drawings, manufacturer manuals and instructions, test procedures, risk assessment and health and safety Method statement, end of commissioning reports.
Ensure all quality control records like test reports, equipment calibration certificates, design modification request.
Carry out the all substation equipment’s Maintenance activities as per schedule and prepare the completion documents.
Witness the SAT test for Electrical equipment. –
Supervisory & monitoring of installation & commissioning activities of Electrical Sub-station & Control system, UPS/ Inverter & Battery charger system, Transformers, MV & LV Switchgear & MV /LV motors control gears.
MV Switchgear - Contact resistance test, Insulation resistance test, Timing open/close test.
CT test, VT test- Protective relay & Metering devices test, & Function test.
Bus-Bar & Power Cable- Hi-pot test, IR test, Low Resistance test & Torque test.
Power Transformer (MV & LV) - IR test & PI test, Ratio test, Winding resistance test, Di-electric test for oil, Vector group & polarity test, Functional test of transformer.
CT/PT – Excitation test, Ratio test, IR test, Resistance test.
