Project OneWire:

• Launched 'OneWire', an OEM Trays and Cases project as lead Design Engineer at Stryker.

Project Lynx, SPIN, and System 10:

• Currently working on 3 active Contract Manufacturing Case and Tray projects as a Lead Design Engineer and partly technical lead.

Work undertaken:

• Created 3D models of components, assemblies, and systems using Creo CAD software.
• Generated technical documentation, such as drawings, BOMs, Engineering Design Description, DIOVV, DFMECA, Benchmarking, and PSSA.
• Constant communication with the supplier for the reviews. Reviewed vendor drawings and specifications for compliance with customer requirements prior to ordering parts and materials.
• Performed calculations to ensure parts met design specifications, such as strength, weight, and cost.
• Evaluated designs for failure modes in order to make improvements or modifications, when necessary.
• Engaged in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing product designs while reducing costs.
• Prepared presentations summarizing project progress or results of tests conducted on new products or modifications made to existing ones.
• Coordinated testing activities between suppliers and the Stryker team in order to validate performance criteria of components being developed.
• Improved methods and procedures for processes, measurement, documenting and workflow techniques.
• Discussed design specifications and procedures with the project manager and engineering team.
• Optimized material selection based on performance requirements and cost considerations.
