WORK EXPERIENCE:

This experience is in to develop single cylinder engine (0.6ltr) for BS-VI Emission norms of Passenger & Cargo vehicle for 3 Wheeler Application.

• Conducting the Engine Calibration on vehicle on chassis dynamometer as per the legislation to meet BS-VI Emission Norms in IDC cycle.
• To prepare Proto engine & assemble on Customers Vehicle as per the vehicle manufacture design.
• Actively participated in combustion optimization for BS-VI Development with semi mechanical FIE system within a targeted Fuel Economy.
• Worked on Exhaust gas after treatment technology (DOC, POC technology) for controlling THC, CO & Particulates matters Emission.
• Worked on development of Drivability map calibration for passenger as well as Cargo vehicle for PIAGGIO Auto PVT LTD &ATUL Auto India Pvt Ltd
• Participated in DSM calibration of 3 wheeler passenger & Cargo vehicle.
• Pre engine Calibration activities & PID Tuning For Idle Stability and EGR Valve.
• Involving New logic Creation and Support to ECU Development.
• Conversant in OBD Calibration.
• Conversant in Vehicle Calibration Activities (Drivability, gradability, Cold Start, Crawling)
• FTP & PTP Optimization using Eddy Current Dyno at Test Cell.
• Working at customer end and Supporting to company remotely.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

I have good experience in Common Rail Fuel injection system.

I have mentioned my roles and responsibilities here,

• Definition,installation and support to Engine management system (Hardware & Software).
• Nozzle and NTP Selection: Selection of suitable Nozzle and NTP based on the performance and emission comparison between the chosen nozzle Variants.
• PID Control in CRDI System,EGR & Boost.
• Vehicle Drivability (Start ability,Idle Control, Injection pressure control during steady & Transient states for better driving comfort)
• Part of calibration the FIE System specific calibration on test rig - Angular position strategy calibration & Validation for precise Injection timing control, Hydraulic Map calibration for precise Injection quantity control,Rail pressure control during transient, Torque and fuel management.
• Supported TML in selection the suitable turbocharger for met the airflow requirement based on the boost pressure required at each speed with the help of Waste gate TC & Variable Geometric Turbo.
• Met the full load performance & SFC target with the selected nozzle using the AUTOCAL Automatic Calibration Tool.
• Emission Calibration in engine and vehicle by measuring the online emission values on analyzer and optimize through in Cylinder Combustion.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Test Bed Control: AVL PUMA (Transient Dyno),EDACS & IASYS For Eddy Current Dynamometers.

• Conversant in Data Collection from Engine test cell.
• Conversant in Engine hardware section & Wiring Harness.
• Heat-Up mode optimization in engine level.
• Development of Engine to its power rating by considering the thermodynamics limits.
• Structured Engine Control (Rubbing friction and pumping torque calibration,volumetric efficiency and pressure drop temperature modeling).
• Worked at Base Engine Calibration and good knowledge in After Treatment systems LNT and DPF.
