• Preparation of comparative statements for the various equipment and submission for procurement. Preparation of before-and-after negotiation statements for the Purchase department.
• Following up with the parties for the project execution, documentation, and submission of drawings for our approval. Check the drawings and send the comments to the supplier.
• Study of mechanical GA drawings and comparing them with civil drawings for their openings, insert plates, coordinates, levels, etc.
• Preparation of the BOQ for all the drawings.
• Preparation of the project schedule for erection activities.
• Preparation of commissioning documents and protocols.
• Preparation of Non-Conformity Reports and Punch List.
• Trial runs of equipment with proper documentation.
• Resolve site-related issues by consulting the Design and Erection team.
• Coordination with contractors and subcontractors.
• Receiving the project equipment, inspecting it, and keeping the equipment for safe storage, as well as easy retrieval for timely erection.
• Checking the fabrication of equipment that is site-fabricated by the contractor, checking the foundations, and alignment of the equipment.
• Co-ordination with interdepartmental sections like Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Stores, Process, Dispatch, and Accounts.
• Erection and commissioning of cement industry equipment, such as bucket elevators, weigh feeders, bag filters, cement batching plant silos, belt conveyors, air slides, etc.
