Under Electric vehicle team for four wheelers- Delta Europe Division

Design tools used in this team was ( Creo 6.0 & Simcenter Flo-Efd )

• HVIC connector and board enclosure design for Daimler
• Learnt from scratch about pressure die casting process and improved structural integrity of DC box chassis for crush test purposes of Daimler.
• Designed structural requirements of HiL (Hardware in Loop) testing box which is now used for lab testing purposes for various OBC(On board chargers) platforms
• Created 3D models and drawings of injection molded plastic parts and sheet metal parts for various projects.
• Wire harnessing and routing in OBCs (On board chargers) and DC box - 3D and creation of drawings
• Performed simple structural analysis on sheet metal parts using pro mechanica and in-turn improved strength of sheet metal parts.
• Lead Design Reviews & participated in Design for Manufacturability reviews.
• With minimum supervision performed coolant flow pressure drop analysis on OBC chassis of BMW and Porsche using Flo-EFD software
• Led meetings to coordinate with electrical hardware teams to mitigate design conflicts, and coordinate delivery timelines
• Worked on RFQs projects of Volvo and Porsche

UPS team - Delta India Division

Design tools used in this team was (Solidworks 2020 & AutoCAD 2019)

• Sheet metal structural frame design of UPS 80kV
• 2D wiring diagrams using AutoCAD

• Testing of Unilever chest freezer units according to EN-ISO239532 standard
• Value engineering and benchmarking study on Unilever chest freezer Cabinets
• Carried out feasibility study for Pepsi's bottle cooler to Glass door vending
• Conducted research to test and analyze feasibility, design, operation and performance of Costa Express machine's components and systems.
• Design of injection molded plastic parts for Pepsi Vending machine
• Self taught Creo rendering tool to improve looks of part /assembly images in slides of presentation.
• Reviewed and checked technical drawings by CAD technicians and drafters

• Learnt to use power tools - Air/pneumatic bolt guns, Dewalt and Milwaukee drilling machines, grinding machines and cutters
• Built ladder racks and assembled on Ford and Chevy fleet
• Built shelves and did wire harnessing inside Ford vans.
• Assembled mud flaps , running boards and step bars for Ford trucks (F150, F250 & F350s)

• Completed ECR –ECNs or PCR –PCNs by coordinating with U.S Cross Functional Team for parts which had field issues;
• Involved in testing Beverage units as per coke standards
• Designed new Ice maker adaptor kits for fountain dispensers.
• Interfaced with suppliers and built prototypes for various subsystems.

Under New product development team

• Managed calculations for selection of motors of McDonald's cup holder machine
• Carried out tolerance stack up calculation on various subsystems in vending machines
• Built aluminum structural fixture for conducting reliability test on door which was used on one of McDonald's unit.
• Monitored DFMEA, DRBFM & Pugh matrix on various subsystems.
• Involved in creating drawings for many subsystems which were ready for production & prototype release
