- Worked in the core Project Management team for rotary discipline for 3.053 MTPA Full Conversion Hydrocracker (HCU) & Residue Upgradation Facility units for HPCL's VRMP project at their Vizag facility.
- Successfully handled and managed complex and critical rotating equipments like Reciprocating Compressors, Centrifugal Compressors,Expander Generators, HPRT driven high power centrifugal pumps,integrally geared OH6 type pumps,reciprocating pumps etc worth a total order value of more than 80 Mn Euros(32Tags, 71 equipments) from planning,ordering to delivery at site phases.
- Rigorous exhaustive co-ordination with in-house engineering and procurement team and nominated suppliers for timely closure of technical & commercial queries to ensure timely ordering of equipments.(100% success on packages on the project critical path)
- Detailed review of the conventional planned schedule of suppliers and suggested ways for crashing of activities and schedule optimization achieving an improvement of 5 to 7%.
- Accelerated the ordering of major bought outs & auxiliaries by suppliers to meet corresponding inputs target dates in line with overall project schedule.
- Complete engagement and co-ordination with all stakeholders for timely submission, resubmission and approval of key documents.
- Proactive identification and meticulous monitoring and tracking of the pre-requisites for critical project milestones(relevant to rotary) was done with an overall slippage of less than 5%.
- Achieved reduction in inspection costs by 10% for critical rotary packages by clubbing multiple inspection activities & optimizing intervention levels

- Attained a cost saving of 12% by optimizing the number of supervision mandays of suppliers.
- Directly managed a team of 2 engineers, 3 commissioning supervisors & a labor force of 25 personnel for accelerated completion of the compressor shed area(major project milestone & on critical path of the project)
- Executed troubleshooting of reciprocating compressor on war footing priority basis and eventually minimizing the downtime and supporting client from avoiding a potential loss of 2 Cr.
