Programming of new section as required. - Take clearance from operation, electrical & mechanical inchg.
- Check readiness of the system by starting hydraulic & lubrication system of mill.
- Checking which pass or stand has been changed for the required section to be rolled and maintaining records
- Feed operating parameter in HMI. This done prior starting the mill.
- Making sure no material is going under tension or making looping in stands and maintaining proper load in all stands respectively.
- Observe equipment functioning & adjust mill parameters to get correct dimensions output
- Observation of pyrometer reading of finishing and equalizing peordicaly
- Optimization of last piece and endcuts to save end yield to achieve monthly yield 95%
- Calibration of loop scanner if looper malfunctioning
- Co-ordination with operation, mechanical & electrical for any abnormality.
- Making daily production report & billet stock report in SAP and excel workbook and reporting it to head office.
