Considering my vast experience in handling of large and complex projects (EPC’s) in India, recently management has extended my role for the South Asia Region to lead the South Asia Contract Management Team for providing world class support to the business operations team from tendering to final project completion and ensuring balance customer centricity and risk management across of VWTS’s ES portfolio. In this role, I am responsible for supporting the growth of the region both financially and in terms of capability by building the risk management mindset within the regional teams and influencing change at every level. In this role I am responsible for successfully closure of projects and realization of money along with extra claims.

• At present management has assigned me to lead the execution of all large and complex projects (EPC’s) having contract value of INR 1100 Crores through an experienced team
• It includes mobilization of sites, making and obtaining approvals of BBU from clients, finalization of sub-contractors and other resources, monitoring main supplies & construction activities and review with site team and sub-contractors and taking corrective actions, raising bills to clients and realization of money, closure of contracts and get release the retention amount along with BG’s and safeguarding of other contractual rights before the clients etc
• I am responsible for execution of projects within the cost and maintaining margin thereof hence controlling and monitoring of cost in EPC business is a critical aspect
• I have good exposure of contract structuring/restructuring, Risk Management and negotiation of terms and claims with clients
• I have handled multiple clients which includes NTPC, ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, NALCO, HURL, OPGCL, PDIL, BORL, UPRVUNL, Municipal Corporation of Jabalpur, DVC, SAIL, APL, NSPCL and other Customers
• I am responsible for maintaining the cash flow of the company which includes preparing funds flow with finance team and maintain committed collections and disbursement accordingly
• I am responsible for reviewing and monitoring the overheads of the project sites and suitable action for its minimization
• It also includes settlement of various disputes/claims of subcontractors and settlement of local suppliers
• In addition to this, I am supporting other teams in various commercial and contractual aspects including cost estimation for new tenders

• Funds Handling: Handling bank/Cash with their accounts for Management purpose
• Funds Planning: Responsible for Funds Planning like proper utilization of available funds and planning to arrange shortfall funds from various sources
• Bills Passing: Verification of Bills with their Contracts
• Supervision of Financial Accounts: My major work in this firm is to supervision of financial accounts and guidance to my juniors to make corrections/adjustments from time to time
• TDS: Deduction, Deposit & Making Returns
• Import Documentation: Preparing documents for Imports like Placement of Order, Advance remittance to suppliers, releasing document from Banker, L/C etc
• MIS & Budget: Collection of Data’s & Helping in Preparation MIS Report
• Finalization of A/c’s: Responsible for Finalization of Annual Accounts of Head office, all Branches and its Sister Concerns firms and Coordination in Internal & External Audit with auditors
• Analysis Report: Responsible for making all type of financial analysis report as desired by the Management
• Inventory: Responsible for making Monthly Inventory register (with Quantitative) and to Physical Verification time to time

• Complete article ship for 3 years
• Bookkeeping: Maintained Books of Accounts in Accounting Package EX for various clients and assists juniors
• (Including Receipts, Payments, Journal, Purchases & Sales vouchers)
• Audit: Vouching of all vouchers with their Books of Accounts, Bank Reconciliation Statement, Branch Reconciliation, prepare final Balance Sheet (after incorporating all adjustments)
• Fixed Assets Register: Maintenance of Blocks & Depreciation Registers with their Historical Value
• Income Tax Return: After completing of Audit, prepare Computation of Income and fill up Income Tax Return
• Company Law Compliances: Known about Basic formalities of Company Law like Share Holder Register, making Annual Return, Allotment of Shares, Increase of Authorised Capital or any alteration in MOA & AOA, Change of Director/s, Change in Registered office, Registration of Charge etc
• Income Tax Scrutiny Cases: Handled more than 35 Income Tax Scrutiny cases u/s 143 (3) of various Companies with Mr A K Jain as an assistant
• Independently prepare all papers & documents as desired by the Assessing officer and Chartered Accountants
