Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plant Buyer - Non-BOM Purchase
• Planning & closely monitoring of materials as per production plan such as Packaging material, Chemicals, Production consumables, MRO Items, Gases, LSHS oil.
• RFQs, Cost Comparisons, Negotiation, Auction, Making & issuing POs to suppliers as per PR received from users of various departments.
• Processed Capital POs of Rs 4.0 Cr with management approval in minimum time period in financial year 2023-24 to achieve capex budget utilization target within time and boost the operations with the help of Capital projects
• Material scheduling, follow up (MSL Items, chemicals and packaging) and lining up the material on daily basis.
• Cost saving projects, finding various ideas to save cost, P2P, MIS preparation.
• Achieving cost saving target of Rs 1.25 Cr provided for financial year 2024-25. Achieved 95% of saving target till Feb 2025.

Major Projects:

1. Providing the cost saving of 3 Lakh Rs per month by implementation of LSFO oil against existing LSHS oil. Cost saved by 4 Rs per Kg and total annual spend reduced by 8% as compared to previous financial year.

2. Developed indigenous source for the chemical ( cork sheet ) and saved the cost by Rs 1.87 lakh per month and reduced the annual spend by 4 % compared to previous financial year.

3. Provided the cost saving of Rs 22K per month by developing it from alternative supplier and saved cost of Rs 11 per paper and reduce total annual spend by 61%.

4. Negotiated and finalized the 25CMD capacity ETP+UF+RO plant requirement in Rs 40.50 Lakhs and provided the LOI and PO to supplier.

5. Negotiated and finalized the Petal pasting machine manual to automatic conversion project in Rs 12.5 Lakhs and provided PO to supplier.

Rucha Engineers Pvt Ltd is sheet metal stamping and fabrication based automotive components manufacturing company engaged in manufacturing of components like Chassis, Fuel tanks, Silencers of 3W and 2W vehicles.

It is tier one supplier for Bajaj Auto Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, VW and TVS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plant Buyer - Indirect material procurement.
• Responsible for purchase of welding consumables like mig welding, welding, Projection welding. Purchased welding fixtures, Welding machine spares. Purchased electrical, electronics and hardware spares from authorized dealers, toolroom parts for machine and fixtures, fixture modification work, hydraulic and mechanical press machine reconditioning work. Purchased hydraulic, pneumatic spares, Cranes spares, Civil Work items and services, fabrication services, utility spares and services, machine AMCs, packaging material, safety consumables, printing and stationery consumables, IT spares and services. Capital Goods like Crane Hoists, New Cranes, Welding machines, Project Based Items.
• Rate comparison, Costing, Rate negotiation, seeking rate approvals on finalized rates.
• Creation of POs in SAP - standard, service, capital, Open PO.
• Follow up with accounts department to release supplier payment in time
• Ensuring GST filing by suppliers on time and preferring regular GST filing suppliers for business.

• Responsible for planning of Preventive maintenance of Machines, execution of PM works for machines like CNC Honing, Deburring, Chamfering, turning, Milling, Assembly tables, Washing machines, Compressors, Transformers, etc.
• Responsible for breakdown troubleshooting with the team for above machines.
• Utility monitoring- taking power factor reading (PF), KVAr, kVAh, kWh, electricity units, compressor hours readings and update in system.
• Daily updating breakdown, PM data in system
• Closing NC points related to maintenance.
