HERAS – Stress Testing - Actuals

Overview: As part of the Finance Change Delivery team, I am leading the delivery and execution of Stress Testing Product (a central data repository designed to map disparate RBWM and Global Risk systems into a Common Data Model globally). As an execution engine it supports PRA, EBA, local stress tests and Retail Risk Analytics (STDF actuals, reporting and analytics)

Project Delivery:

• Orchestrated BAU Change Release plans for Actuals CRs, aligning requirements, resources, and scrum activities.
• Coordinated cross-functional teams to ensure projects were completed within budget and deadlines.
• Provided decisive leadership, ensuring team adherence to industry best practices.
• Crafted tailored solutions within budgetary and scope constraints based on thorough customer requirement analysis.
• Spearheaded the review and deployment of crucial support documents, facilitating seamless transition to production.
• Acted as a pivotal SME contact for resolving production issues across user and system interfaces.
• Assisted the Project Manager in compiling comprehensive working group packs and delivering presentations.
• Led workshops with senior management teams to define project objectives, scope and success criteria.

Scrum Master:

Test Manager & Business Analyst:

• Analyzed system specifications, identified potential risks, and reviewed project deliverables to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinated with stakeholders throughout the software testing life cycle, providing technical guidance, support, and conducting user acceptance tests.
• Implemented JIRA bug tracking tool for defect tracking best practices and monitored sprint progress, providing updates to key stakeholders.
• Ensured proper documentation of test cases according to established standards, conducted root cause analysis on defects, and documented lessons learned to enhance future project efforts.

COREP Reporting – Capital & Liquidity Team:

• Produced COREP, Pillar 3, and FSA reports for Group and Solo entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supported Group Regulators in submitting error-free reports to the EBA through the Gabriel system, meeting deadlines.
• Managed the transition of the COREP reports adjustment process from the Singapore onshore team, ensuring smooth migration.
• Validated reports for EBA validation errors using the AXIOM tool and corrected any identified issues for Gabriel submission.
• Streamlined processes, including process flows and adjustments, to meet audit requirements and enhance efficiency.
• Handled queries from group regulators regarding COREP, FSA, CCRE, and Pillar 3 reports.
• Reconciled credit risk numbers from source systems with COREP reports and portfolio sign-off numbers.
• Conducted XBRL file tick backs to ensure alignment with final adjusted COREP reports.
• Acted as a bridge between IT, projects, and reporting verticals to implement system enhancements and fixes.
• Conducted ad hoc analysis during finance systems transitions and reporting process improvements.

Capital Reporting - Global Finance Services India:

• Oversaw capital reporting and supported risk reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate data delivery.
• Managed adjustments, conducted control checks, and reported to regulatory bodies.
• Led divisional reporting, controlled monthly reporting processes, and conducted adjustments and checks.
• Promoted process efficiency and provided support for risk and control processes.

Reference Data Management – Markets & International Banking:

• Reported MIS, managed queries, and facilitated communication with clients.
• Updated procedure documents, managed team priorities, and provided training.
• Identified process gaps and conducted team training to improve efficiency.

Project Integration (ABN – RBS):

• Conducted data migration, user acceptance testing, and dress rehearsals.
