- Leading POLYURETHENE Foam for New Product Development
- Prepare RFQ Costing of PU Pads & mold Tool for New Business
- Prepare All foam tool capacity & line capacity for New Business
- Validation of testing ,H point ,comfort Test hardness elongation ,Tensile ,Tear , Flammability& Hysteresis Loss
- Knowledge of reverse engineering & making proto sample
- Chemical / Physical analysis for Pu foam & Seat
- Actively involved in New Product Development activities
- Keeping Record of Drawing & Correspondence documents related to NPD
- POLYURETHENE Foam & mold development for seating systems (2-Wheeler & 4-Wheeler) of all new models
- Responsible for all types of PU Foam & mold Quality issue in Development stage
- Co-Ordination with concern depts., Vendors & Customers during every step of PU Foam development
- Lay out inspection of final part
- Does mold trials at vendor end
- Expertise in development & trial of epoxy molds for making proto seat samples
- Testing samples, Robot Programming for POLYURETHENE pad making at initial phase
- Prepare PPAP Doc
- As required by customer (PCS, MIS-P, PFMEA) and responsible for approval from customer
- Inspection of child parts and taking follow ups from suppliers for on time approval of the parts
- Preparing documents for CAR-V (change approval request from vendor) if any change arrives in existing
- Preparing procedures and work instructions for the shop floor
- Doing process and product audits at supplier end
- Conducting SOP (Start of Production) Audit with Customer after approval of PPAP
- Prepare Quality related documents for every inspection stage
- Doing Vendor audits for up gradation & process improvement related to supplier quality
- And responsible for joint inspection approval from customer
- Cost reduction planning in running production
- Coordinate with chemical suppliers (BASF , DOW & COVESTO)
- Study for hardness variation , and study for different material setup
- Benchmarking for polyurethane requirement and understand the chemistry of the product and develop the part as per requiremnet,trial & validation
- As per global requirement new advance technology machine and equipment setup and installation to meet all customer requirements and specifications standards
