IOTA Cloud is basically a migration version of the IVSU cloud application that had been built using Azure PaaS on Azure IaaS during the inception phase when OTA product line got emerged out from the dealer business with an intent to establish online transactions for vehicle modules through cloud – To be refactored aligned to the Client Tech Stack Organization guidelines with the help of Java/Spring Boot Service on PCF Foundation Framework acting as PaaS layer on Azure IaaS whose core business process is briefed below:

IOTA caters to provisioning of Firmware Upgrades Over-The-Air (FOTA) by delivering the manifest wrapped with the targeted firmware part binaries in place as response to TCU. These binaries shall be downloaded and installed onto the TCU vehicle modules relatively.

Likewise, IOTA Business App Service further supports Software Upgrades Over-The-Air (SOTA) business process in the same way by delivering the manifest wrapped with the targeted software part binaries in place as response to SYNC3 Non-Nav requests being initiated from the vehicle automatically based on ignition cycles and regular time intervals with unlimited retries to aid potential software updates to SYNC3 Infotainment modules. The same process had been extended to support SYNC3 Nav enabled vehicles to provision Map Upgrades Over-The-Air (MOTA) business process in the form of chunk updates per region (NA/EU) wherever the vehicle is being commuted to, in that region.

Another miniature type infotainment-cum broadcasting module in the radar that encompasses the SOTA business process by leveraging IOTA App services – Connected Touch Radio (CTR).

Project Description:

The main intent of the Project is providing a centralized solution to implement the NPfIT compliance standards against the Existing Primary Care Legacy systems (Synergy / Premiere). NPfIT is a programme specifically aimed at the long term government led vision of a unified System proposed by NHS Connecting for Health (NHS CfH).

The CORE services include Choose & Books [Includes Patient Demographic Services - PDS and Electronic Booking Service - EBS], Electronic Transfer of Prescriptions [ETP], General Practitioner-to General Practitioner - Electronic Health Record Transfer [GP2GP] and Electronic Prescription Service v2.0 respectively.

Architecture - Clinical / Compliance System Integration

The clinical products (Synergy / Premiere) are based on the Client-Server architecture wherein the Electronic transfer of data is based on HL7, and is achieved using a system based on Service Oriented Architecture, comprising of an ASP .Net Web application, Web Services and Remoting services running on the Microsoft .Net platform, written using C#, with MS SQL Server serving as the database server

Vertical Private eXchange (VPX) is a privatized Business-to-Business Exchange solution targeting towards different engineering verticals. VPX can be customized to the requirements of the industry with the help of tools/utilities built for the same. It’s mainly intended for performing e-business by Small-to-Medium Enterprise units.

B2B Integration prototype is developed mainly to handle the VPX client’s ERP system with that of VPX owner’s enterprise system with the help of BizTalk Server 2002. By leveraging the features of BizTalk Server Mapper, the source and destination databases are mapped as per the functional requirements. Then, Adapters are used in handling the data flow between the two business systems. Buy/Sell-side features are provisioned in the integrated prototype model.
