• Creating adhoc as well as normal batch jobs in the control-m environment based on requirements from application/development teams.
• Setting up control-m calendars as per the yearly calendar shared by customer and also created special calendars for jobs which runs on client holidays.
• Performing mainframe activities like copy, delete and rename on members in dataset library.
• Making scheduling changes as per client's requirement such as defining a new job, modifying an existing job,
  calendar updates, adding predecessors and successors to the existing job and adding file dependencies.
• Fixing the job abends based on the severity of the job. Creating new jobs for automation to reduce manual

• Fixing the JCL as per the customer requirement and restart the jobs from the particular steps by running the JCL from override.
• Review daily abend reports to determine jobs that may require further actions for a permanent solution.
• Ensure all the online regions are up on time and ensure the timely completion of the batch cycles as per the schedule.
• Ensure timely completion of the batch cycles, hold, force complete, rerun and schedule to run next workday.
• Monitoring all mainframe batch jobs and fixing abends, check for long running jobs and investigate for any loop
  back issues with batch jobs.
• Monitoring console for all the messages and take necessary action on the alerts.
• Worked on decommissioning the host/host group from control-m configuration manager once the server has been retired.
• Supported the onshore team while performing the HADC ( High Availability Disaster Recovery ).

• Scheduling requests using Control-M and CA7 and Jobtrac Working closely with project manager and the NSSR to sign the new internal projects.

• Upgraded the control-M EM/Server versions from 9.0.00 to 9.0.20 and also upgraded the control-m agents using automatic agent distribution.
• Successfully built the DR setup in client environment and successfully tested the same.

AS400 Activities:

• Creating new users and managing the profiles of users in DEV and PROD LPARS.
• Performing daily checks on IBM storwize 7000 storage and creating ticket to IBM in case of disk failure.
• Applying PTF and adding license programs as per the client requirements.
• Working on migrating the on-prem AS400 systems to IBM cloud.
• Performing weekly backup and IPL on all the AS400 LPARS.
