TITLE: ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS):

Project Summary:

Anti lock braking system or ABS is a safety system in vehicles that prevents the wheels from locking upgrading braking , especially in emergency situations. In addition to its safety benefits, ABS also improves vehicle stability, reduces stopping distance, and enhances overall control and handling during braking. ABS technology has evolved over the years. And newer models include features such as electronic stability control, traction control, and brake assist, which further enhance the safety and performance of the system.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for system understanding and requirement analysis on DOOR tools.
  • Working on CAN Protocol and its Configuration.
  • Working on Diag Services like 0x10, 0x11, 0x22, 0x2e, 0x27, 0x3E.
  • Resolving issues by analyzing the recorded Log files.
  • Worked on Diagnostic Communication configuration.
  • Implemented Read & write data by Identifiers (DID’s).
  • Functionality Testing for Diagnostics services.

TITLE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM

Client : HCL Technologies

Duration: February 2020 to September 2022

Project Summary :

The ACC system behaves as a conventional cruise control System in an open lane condition. When approaching a slower vehicle in subject vehicle path, the ACC system uses the Power train and the Electronic Brake System to adjust the subject vehicle speed in order to maintain the driver selected headway. Radar sensor is usually at the core of the adaptive Cruise control(ACC). Installed at the front of the vehicle, the system permanently monitors the road ahead. As long as the road ahead is clear, ACC maintains the speed set by the driver. If the system spots a slower vehicle within its detection range, it gently reduces speed by releasing the accelerator or actively engaging the brake control system. If the vehicle ahead speeds up or changes lanes, the ACC automatically accelerates to the driver’s desired speed.
