In Client Analytics and Risk Modeling Phase1 source data from 25 scoped Source Systems were loaded into Acquisition layer (Tier1) which is staging platform of the EDM. One on One view will be created in Tier3. Phase 2 of the project will cover the data flow from Acquisition layer (Tier1) to Integrated Data Layer (Tier 2) and Access/Semantic Layer (Tier 3) for only RISK Modeling. Phase 3 includes more countries into the system and makes the data available for the user. The EDM Platform loads and processes millions of rows of diverse types of data from many different data sources daily. Sometimes loading data cannot compete successfully due to data exceptions and batch load issues, as a result count mismatch happens between EDM and Source System. This reconciliation is done daily, and a detailed report is generated and sent across teams. The objective of the proposed Trend Analysis and Exception Report is to have complete coverage of gaps within EDMP thereby improving OLA, SLA adherences and awareness in recon breaks and communicating to data consumers.
Westpac Group Data Warehouse (GDW) Re-platform project is driven under Refresh and Reliability program. The scope of this project is too re-platform the existing GDW on Oracle platform onto a brand-new Teradata platform. This would subsequently lead to decommissioning of current GDW on Oracle and repointing of all interfaces, both upstream and downstream, to new Teradata platform.
