- Commercial Bought Participation (CBP) Process. Commercial Bought Participation is a banking process under the Commercial Bancorp Team, where the group of banks takes part in a loan program as a syndication and participation. It’s a very sensible process, which has a very narrow TAT.
- As a BPO hand receives the notices from the lead banks throughout the day, which contain the information on all variant activities associated with the Loan Program for an effective day.
- Commercial Bought Participation is a loan for commercial purposes, and it’s from different agent banks. Commercial loans will come through the fax queue, and we need to prioritize with the Excel (Excel prioritize session). After that, we need to work on the loan in the Commercial Ops database.
- We receive the request for funding, the instructions for the payments of a loan, the rate setting or loan setup request, the letter of credit setup request, the information on changes in the value of the letter of credit bill, fees payments monthly or annually, the new funding for a new customer, etc.
- Advance Commercial Banking system accounts are those accounts that deal in multiple currencies, and these accounts need some additional steps in processing. We use the ACBS application, dedicated to serving these special accounts.
- I also cross-train and work on the payment matching process, where we match the commercial wire of payments in order to ensure the correct amount of transaction for the customer loan balances.
- Achievements: Best Employee Award for the month of May for achieving high production with 100% quality.
- Received appreciation from clients (JP Morgan and Bank of America).
