Key Duties Responsibilities

  • Attending the tickets raised by users & giving solutions to them within the SLA time
  • Troubleshooting the desktop related, software related, mail related issues through Remote Desktop.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Scanners and other peripherals.
  • Configuring Mail in Office 365 pro plus & troubleshooting mail in MS Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 & 2013 and Mozilla Thunderbird.
  • Configuring VPN via Forticlient.
  • User ID maintenance using AD DS Windows 2008, 2012 and AD Manager Plus & mail management by postfix admin.
  • Troubleshooting LAN, Internet Issues, IP address assigning.
  • Creating Matrix & updating it on daily activities.
  • Exchange Activities & Troubleshooting Mail related problems.
  • Installing the SAP & solving related issues.
  • Update service desk regularly with status of attending & resolving the tickets assigned to the specific engineer with their respective service desk ID in a ticketing tool service now.
  • Handle daily technical support activities on Desktop Support, Data Network & Server management.
  • Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for Hardware/Software problems.
  • Coordinating with the local vendor for hardware parts or replacement.
  • Managing service requests, software installation, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
  • Maintaining computer peripherals devices like printers and resolve associated problems.
  • Installing Anti-virus software and managing clients with up to date Updates.
  • Knowledge on RDP, Team Viewer, Anydesk Quick assist and Remote assistance.
  • Crimping straight through & crossover cables with RJ-45 connectors.
  • Configuring Weighing scales & set them in a network for monitoring the data.
  • Configuring data loggers.
  • Look after the link issues & solve them accordingly by contacting the vendors.
  • Maintaining a ticketing tool called IRMS and Service Now to close the completed calls.
  • Contacting the AMC vendors to close the calls related to faulty assets.
  • Execute proactive IT tasks, including secure data wiping for laptops and preparing assets for re-allocation.
  • Performing Active Directory (AD) password resets and unlocking accounts.
  • Perform daily health checks on Video Conference Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) to ensure all audio-visual devices and Connections are working correctly.
