BRIEF DESCRIPTION ABOUT PROJECT: There has been significant innovation within payments and accelerated development of new forms of digital money, including public (central bank digital currencies or CBDC) and private initiatives. However, these initiatives are largely being led independently by different entities and stakeholders. This may lead to a fragmented landscape and even risks breaking the functional equivalence of money. New digital platforms and developments in crypto assets, stablecoins and DeFi may also lead to more people in the UK choosing to use unregulated money.
The P2P marketplaces support by DvP business application facilitates the ability for consumers to purchase and sell products on a global peer-to-peer marketplace or through private seller transactions, via a retail version of payment versus delivery. There is an agreement made between two peers which is codified through a smart contract. The buyer's funds are locked/earmarked and are released upon satisfactory delivery of products/goods. The business application aims to demonstrate four types of payment flow variants:
• from one commercial bank account to another
• from one digital pound wallet to another
• from digital pound wallet to commercial bank account and vice versa
• from a tokenized deposit wallet to the other forms of money (digital pound or existing commercial bank money), and vice versa.

PROJECT: PAD & AMT (Delta Dental, USA) (JUN 2022- FEB 2024)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Migrated legacy applications to Azure Cloud, improving performance by 30%.
• Automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins & GitHub Actions, reducing deployment time by 50%.
• Developed and maintained Spring Boot microservices for Access Management and Product Launch systems.
• Provided day-to-day support to resolve production issues and optimize system performance.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION ABOUT PROJECT: The Delta Dental Plans Association is composed of 39 independent Delta Dental member companies operating in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. These member companies provide coverage to 85 million people enrolled in over 157,000 groups. While many of the Delta Dental member companies and Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) are non-profit organizations, a few of the member companies have for-profit segments.
