- Headed a team of four members and successfully strategized, negotiated, and executed supply contracts worth approximately $1 billion (or 7,500 crore) for the procurement of solar modules and solar inverters. In this process, established strong relationships and signed long-term MOUs/framework agreements with three Chinese companies and one Indian company.
- Responsible for evaluating, onboarding, and managing 25+ global vendors spread across India, China, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
- Worked with a leading management consulting firm (McKinsey & Company) in generating and executing cost-cutting ideas, and delivered significant savings (~INR 10 Cr+).
- Worked with the Trade Finance team and engaged with several global banks on successfully executing an alternate payment/Bill discounting mechanism (Sinosure) with Chinese vendors, which helped the company with cash flow management.
- Continuously engaged and provided valuable inputs on module price forecasts, technology developments, and business development teams on a regular basis, helping them update their assumptions to participate in competitive bidding.
- Closely coordinated with the Logistics team in negotiating, aligning logistics terms, and executing MOUs/framework agreements with shipping lines like Maersk and global vendors.
