  • Inspection and maintenance of blast furnace equipment (i.e., GCP axial Cyclone, Cast house , INBA , Stove & PCI equipment)
  • Planning and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance, with the help of condition monitoring.
  • Coordinating with the design and workshop departments for job work orders and spare parts planning.
  • Efficient experience of using the SAP PM module for inter-department planned maintenance. Creating a BOM (Bill of Materials) in SAP for the Blast Furnace department.
  • Responsibility of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and SMP (Standard Maintenance Procedure) document preparation, implementation, and total execution in the Blast Furnace department.
  • Inventory management of spare parts and equipment in the blast furnace department, which includes prior planning to order spares in advance for minimizing MTTR.
  • An essential part of TPM and 5S in the blast furnace department. Head of the TPM 3rd pillar (PM) in my department. Part of the TPM JH execution board.
  • Commissioning of the TRT (Top-gas Recovery Turbine) of 7 MW capacity in my department.

  • Hydrophobic Packaging Materials Preparation from Banana stem fiber:

- Enhanced raw banana stem into natural Fibers using hydrolysis, Conducted UTM & Tensile Test of the fiber.

- As it was a hydrophilic fiber the main challenge was to turn it into hydrophobic material .

- After turning it into hydrophobic fiber we conducted UTM & Tensile tests to check it's strength & Conducted tests for  measuring it's capacity for being a hydrophobic.

  • Commssioning of TRT ( Top-gas Recovery Turbine) 7 MW capacity:

- to use the dynamic flow of the efficient blast furnace gas (BF gas) installation of this turbine was done by JSW steel .

-Conduction of installation & post installation the equipment testing of Turbine, Generator, hydraulic oil pumps, barring gear etc.
