• As part of company’s annual target, worked along with CFT to improve Productivity
• Indirect area manpower saving through Standardized work implementation- 50% improvement in CPPS line & 7% in spare packing through MOST analysis & ECRS approach

Shop floor planning and control:

• Designed the efficient layout considering optimum area efficiency & smooth material flow SMT area resulted in space creation for new SMT lines for EV product
• Selecting cost effective vendors though requesting RFQs (cost reduction of 2 lakh INR) & raise PO, execute shifting

New Product development:

• With usage of VSM's, designed material flow for new product to optimize production cost for EV line
• Design standardization work sheet using MOST to reduced gap between Tact time & Cycle time during planning phase itself

• Productivity Leader – Productivity kaizen blueprint preparation (20% labor cost reduction) through OEE Improvement, Cycle time reduction & motion study- MOST, Line balancing to target profitability
• Layout Kaizen: Prepared Master plan based on VSM's, segregated line based on product matrix, Further extending VSM scope, converted existing straight lines to U- shape in order to tackle volume fluctuations (Saved 10 lakh during Covid Situation)
• Just In Time production – Establish linkage between manufacturing assembly lines to supplier using VSM & calculating Kanban & generate order through it & delivery to customer by Direct staging concept
• Developed first Just- In-Time system based assembly lines of DNHA using small lot production in Meter assembly ( Lot size reduced to 1 bin from 4 bins )
• Reducing Setup time in die molding area & fill-up system implementation using SMED concept (50%+ reduction)
• Human Development -
• Certified Industrial engineer trainer by DIAT (ASIA HQ, Thailand).
• Developed & conducted productivity training for Production team leader & manager, approved by DIAT, Thailand (10 batches of 6 person/batch) (Skill level up from 1 to 3)
• Led small group kaizen activity involving CFT at VCT assembly line resulting in bottleneck reduction from 18.8 sec to 18 sec
• Resource planning – Capacity based on tact time (customer demand)- Annual sales Plan, Month wise manpower allocation, TPM Planning to avoid downtime during production
• Engineering Documentation – Preparation of Standard motion studies based on MOST, Process flow, VSM’s etc. to promote standard working and Quality enhancement; developed formats with graphical representation for ease of monitoring & analyzing data (excel based)
• KPI Analysis & Monitoring - Progress sharing of Annual Plan activities on Quarterly Basis & Department Key Performance Indicators (plan vs actual) on Monthly Basis with DIAT HQ, Analyzed information based on Current demand & Forecasted demand.
